Welcome to
Daylight
A Garden of Good News and Illuminations, Timely and True,
Begun on Easter Sunday, April 12th, 2020

|
We find ourselves in a time of twin crises, two fundamental threats to civilization: the covid-19 pandemic itself, and the often-lethal psychological, moral, and spiritual darkness it has exhumed at all levels of society, private and public. Happily, our times - and the fundamental strength and light of the human spirit - are also bringing us remarkable feel-good stories of compassion, generosity, humor, creativity, and connection. With these stories we reclaim our optimism and confidence in ourselves and each other, and affirm anew our faith in the basic human decency that will get us through these times. In our struggle with fear, anger, selfishness, and ignorance we may yet come out ahead. This page is dedicated to meeting that challenge. Geotrees.Com is pleased to gather and share links to many of these stories. We'll continue to add more as they emerge, and invite you to enjoy, take strength from, and share them all. Best wishes to all for safety, good health, community, and peace. We dedicate this special project with great respect and great love to Mohandas, Father Louis, Anne, Martin, Teresa, Nelson, and Malti.
GREAT THANKS to all of our sources. You have given us concrete ways to affirm and participate in the fundamental human community of love and upliftment, under very difficult circumstances. May all of us, and each of us, make the most of it. Thank you.
